Privacy
Agency Thailand (“we”, “us”) operates this website and the enquiry, listing submission and account features on it (together, the “Services”). This policy sets out what personal data we collect from you, or that you provide to us, how it's used, disclosed and retained, and how you can access or correct it. Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) applies from the moment you send us an enquiry or submit a listing.
Information you provide directly
When you send an enquiry about a listing, or submit a property for review, we collect your full name, email address and phone number, plus anything you write in a message, so an agent can get back to you. If you create an account to sign in, we store your email address. We never ask for ID documents or title deeds through the public site.
Information collected automatically
We log a hashed version of your IP address against enquiries, for spam and abuse prevention only — never the raw address. We also read a small set of cookies; see section 5.
We use personal data solely to put you in touch with the right agent, process a listing submission, let you sign in and see your own listings, and to remember your currency and language preference. We don't use it for marketing you haven't asked for, and we don't use it for anything beyond what you contacted us for.
We don't sell personal data, and we don't share it with third parties for their own marketing. Your enquiry is shared internally with the agent assigned to the listing you asked about (or a general inbox, if none is assigned) so they can respond to you.
We use a small number of necessary cookies today — to remember your currency and language preference, and to keep you signed in. These don't require consent to function. If we add analytics in the future, it will only run after you accept it in the cookie banner; we don't use any analytics or advertising cookies at the time of writing.
We don't delete enquiry or listing records outright — closed enquiries and unpublished listings are archived rather than erased, so we keep an accurate record of what happened. The one exception: a listing draft nobody has confirmed submitting is automatically deleted after 48 hours of inactivity.
Passwords are never stored in plain text. IP addresses are hashed, not stored raw. Access to personal data in our admin systems is restricted to staff who need it to do their job.
You can ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing enquiries@agencyth.com. We'll action deletion requests by anonymizing your contact details on our records rather than removing the record entirely, for the reason described in section 6.
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
Questions about this policy or your personal data can be sent to enquiries@agencyth.com.
